Fixing Tiny Text on High-Resolution Screens with Raspberry Pi

If you’re using a Raspberry Pi with a high-resolution monitor or TV, you may have run into the frustrating issue of tiny, unreadable text. Here’s a quick fix to make your desktop environment usable again:

1. Set Defaults for Large Screens

  • Go to Menu > Preferences > Appearance Settings
  • Click Defaults > For Large Screens > Set Defaults
This adjusts font sizes and UI elements for better readability.

2. Adjust the Screen Resolution

  • Navigate to Menu > Preferences > Screen Configuration
  • Go to Layout > Screens > [Your Screen] > Resolution > 1920×1080
  • Then Layout > Apply to confirm changes

These two tweaks should make your Raspberry Pi setup much more comfortable on high-DPI displays.
